EMISSION TRADING

 

Emission Trading is a tool to control emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases. Legislative Decree No. 216/2006, which transposed Directive 2003/87/EC, establishes the obligation for operators of installations falling within the scope of the directive to submit an application for a greenhouse gas emission permit, prior to the commissioning of the installation. When complying with regulations, it is important for the plant operator to rely on professional consultants.   • Assistance and advice in the preparation of the permit application file (master data, description of activities and plant emissions, monitoring provisions, reporting provisions);
  • Assistance in applying for a greenhouse gas emission permit or permit update application;
  • Assistance in requesting the competent authority for any clarifications on how the above-mentioned obligations should be fulfilled, as well as in reporting any technical problems relating to the completion of forms or their transmission;
  • Assistance and support for regular reporting of required data, including:
    • Master data of operator and plant;
    • Information on the methodology and monitoring system for greenhouse gas emissions;
    • For each activity carried out as a whole and for which emissions are calculated: activity data, emission factors, oxidation factors, total emissions, information on the reliability of measurement methods and elements of uncertainty.
